Swirl Dynamic Calciner: Dynamic Calcination of Powdery Material
 
Swirl Dynamic Calciner is the domestic first patented dynamic calcining equipment developed by our company in 1997, used for the calcination of powdery materials.

Product introduction:

   Calcination is a process of property change, purification, decomposition, oxidation, and reduction. In which, the powders present static and dynamic motions. The bigger the specific area of the material, the faster heat transfer, then the shorter duration of calcination.

   In the swirl dynamic calcination, the powdery materials are mixed with the heated hot air; they flow in the same direction, resulting in the big specific surface area for heat transfer, achieving an instantaneous calcination. Which guarantees the sufficient heat transfer and the decompostion of the powders, hence improve the product quality.


Working principle:

   The calciner mainly consists of a gas heater, a gas-solid mixer, the calciner furnace body, and a gas-solid separator, The pre-calcining material is carrried into the furnace body by a gas-solid mixer, mixing with the hot air from the gas heater, swirling upward, resulting in a fast calcination within a couple of seconds. The powder-hot air mixture flows into the gas-solid separator, then the former is discharged at the discharge outlet, the latter is discharged at the exhaust outlet, respectively.

1. Continuous operation, controllable temperature, sufficient gas-solid mixing, stable product quality.

2. The instant calcination is beneficial for the activity of product, avoiding over-burning.

3. The closed system can cause no pollution, and retain a high recovery rate, therefore a clean working environment.

4. The tail gas can be conveyed into a cooler or a dryer to use heat effectively.

5. The internal temperature of the calciner ranges from 500-1600 ºC.

6. The granularity of calcined powders ≤ 60 mesh.

7. Fuel: coal, coal gas, natural gas, diesel, and heavy oil.

8. Combustion methods: indirect or direct heating; internal or external burning.
