Green Sand Production Line Process: Employing clay as a binder, clay sand is fundamental in modeling (core) sand. Mechanizing the sand recovery process is essential in foundry production, directly influencing casting quality and output, while reducing costs. The recycling and treatment of used sand are complex, making green sand processing and transportation laborious in harsh conditions. Therefore, mechanizing these processes is crucial. Post-pouring and cooling, the sand mold is separated via a vibrating shakeout machine, streamlining casting sand separation. Hot castings proceed via a scale conveyor to the shot blasting area. A belt conveyor at the shakeout machine's sand outlet transports old sand to the regeneration area. Crosswise placement of a suspended magnetic separator and belt conveyor efficiently removes iron from the old sand. Dust is extracted through the dust removal port, and the filtered sand reaches a small sand silo. The old sand is cooled on a boiling cooling bed, and a bucket elevator lifts it vertically to a sand silo for storage. An unloader then distributes it to sand bins equipped with a vibrating disc feeder. The old sand then moves via a belt conveyor to a rotor sand mixer's storage hopper, where coal powder and bentonite mix proportionally through a screw feeder. This blend ensures consistent quality before progressing to the sand loosening machine, subsequently entering the molding machine for reuse.
