The scrubber, also known as a spray tower or waste gas washing equipment, is designed for industrial exhaust gas purification, dust removal, and VOCs pretreatment. It uses water or chemicals to absorb and neutralize pollutants such as acidic or alkaline substances, achieving effective purification.
Ideal for treating water-soluble VOCs, it is particularly suited for exhaust gas containing acids, alkalis, or odors.
Working principle
1.Gas Entry: Waste gases enter the scrubber via the inlet.
2.Gas-Liquid Contact: Scrubbing liquid is sprayed into the gas stream, capturing particulates and dissolving or reacting with harmful gases.
3.Absorption/Neutralization: Pollutants are absorbed into the liquid or neutralized by chemical reactions in the packed bed.
4.Droplet Separation: The mist eliminator removes liquid droplets entrained in the gas stream.
5.Treated Gas Exit: Cleaned gas exits through the outlet, complying with emission standards.
6.Liquid Management: Used liquid is drained, treated, or recirculated depending on the system design.
