Product Description

Threaded Rod

Type:Threaded Rod
Definition:A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension.[2] Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread (ATR); other namses include fully-threaded rod, redi-rod, continuously-threaded rod, and TFL rod.
Galvanized steel, mild steel, stainless steel, nylon, brass, copper, aluminum, and titanium are all commonly used to make threaded rods.
Description:

Threaded rod, as its name suggests, is a metal rod that is threaded throughout the entire length of the rod. It's typically made from carbon, zinc coated or stainless steel. The threading allows for bolts and other types of fixings to be fastened onto the rod to suit many different construction applications.
The difference between threaded bar and threaded rod: Simply put, threaded rod is just a length of metal rod which is threaded from end to end, hence the alternative name of "all thread". Other names used are threaded bar and threaded stud - they are all the same thing.
Application:Threaded rod is commonly used to connect two objects together, such as wood or metal, or to provide a connection between concrete and another material.
Threaded rod has a PTFE coating  and are formulated with superior characteristics for maximum fastener life. Technical components include a tensile strength of up to 4,000 psi and an operating pressure up to 100,000 psi.
Others:Threaded rod, often referred to as a stud, is a rod of varying length that is threaded in a helical structure.
