Cast steel wheel set is the wheel set with the widest application and the largest consumption in China at present. It is mainly composed of four parts: wheel axle, cast steel wheel, bearing and bearing box. Generally, wheel axle is made of two materials: 45 steel and 40Cr. When the load is relatively large, the company adopts other alloy steel, the driving wheel shaft and spline wheel shaft need to be modulated, and the wheel shaft of the motor car is generally not subject to heat treatment.
The cast steel wheel group generally has the following materials: cast steel 55 cast steel 50SiMn, cast steel 42CrMo. Because defects are easy to appear in the casting process, the yield of the wheel group is not as high as that of the forged wheel group. No defects are allowed on the wheel tread, and no large defects are allowed on the side. If there are small defects, they can be welded before reheating treatment. When the load is small, cylindrical tapered bearing is used. When the load is large, cylindrical self-aligning bearing is used.
