The WL200/580Y series bed is designed with a low centre of gravity 30° slanting bed, Meehanna cast iron, ultra-strong structure, and heat flow balance design, which ensures excellent vibration damping of the bed structure, and thus guarantees outstanding performance of the machine. The high rigidity of this series of lathes ensures long term high precision cutting, and also extends the life of the machining tools.
The WL 200/580 and WL 260/1050 series can be equipped with an optional Y-axis function, which greatly increases the machining capability of complex workpieces and improves the machining accuracy of many engineering parts. For example, it can perform high-precision slot milling and X-axis eccentric drilling. The Y-axis function is achieved by linking the creation axis with the X-axis, featuring a low centre of gravity and good rigidity.
The WL 200/580 series combines C-axis control and a powered turret to become a mill-turn centre. For example, high-precision slot milling and X- axis eccentric drilling. The abundant Y-axis travel (100 mm=+ 50 mm/-50 mm) enables efficient machining of various parts. The low centre of gravity of the large-span rail design improves rigidity. The angle between the OY-axis and X-axis is 30°, so that the centre of gravity of the turret always falls within the range of the saddle slide to ensure the rigidity of machining, and also to reduce the deformation due to the burden of its own weight.
