Trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) is a strong oxidant and chlorinating agent, which has an efficient, broad-spectrum and safe disinfection effect. Among chlorinated isocyanuric acid products, it has the strongest bactericidal activity against bacteria, viruses, fungi, molds, Vibrio cholerae, and Bacillus. It also has a certain inhibitory effect on coccidian oocysts, and can be used to disinfect the environment, drinking water, fruits and vegetables, livestock farms, fish ponds, and silkworm houses.
The method of use is to use powder to prepare 4-6mg/kg concentration for drinking water disinfection, and use 200-400mg/kg concentration solution for environmental disinfection and instrument disinfection.
TCCA has many functions such as killing algae, deodorizing, purifying water and bleaching.
It has a stronger and better bactericidal and bleaching effect than sodium dichloroisocyanurate, and can be widely used in cotton and linen fiber fabric washing bleaching agent, wool shrink-proofing agent, oil drilling mud and sewage sterilization treatment, and battery disinfection. In addition, it is mainly used for swimming pool disinfection, drinking water disinfection, industrial wastewater and sewage treatment.
In recent years, TCCA has also been used in food processing industry, food hygiene industry, aquaculture, daily chemical industry, hospitals, nurseries, epidemic prevention, garbage disposal, hotels, restaurants and natural disasters, large-scale disinfection and sterilization after man-made disasters.
 Trichloroisocyanuric acid is a kind of chloroisocyanuric acid compounds, and it is an important bleach, chlorinator and disinfectant.
