1.2312 P20+S Falt Bar Plastic Mould Steel

It have a very good machinability, good toughness and wear resistance, uniform hardness, good dimensional stability, pre-harden condition. Also it do not require hear treatment and can be processed directly, suitable for nitriding to increase wear resistance. But not for chrome.

1.2312/P20+S plastic mold steel is suitable for making injection mould without special surface requirements and low mechanical stresses, medium and large size plastic mould, light alloy mould with low melting point. Itis also suitable for making mould base or mould parts of casting mould and injection mould.
