What is A Threaded Rod?
A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a long rod that is threaded on both ends and also along the entire length. The threading is a helical structure used to convert between rotational and linear movement or force.
For threaded rods the quality/material is indicated as stated in DIN 976-1. This means there is a stamp in the head or the quality and/or material is indicated by means of a color coding. The color coding must be applied to at least one of the heads of the threaded rod.
