The Measuring Hook - The additional versatility of the measuring hook allows this gauge to be used to measure thickness, internal steps on a work piece and access other restricted features
The hook is precision ground and hardened, to a thickness of 2mm. The gauge is easy to calibrate, by closing the gauge so the hook is in contact with the caliper base and pressing zero
When a thickness or internal step dimension is measured a direct reading can taken from the display. If a depth measurement is taken 2 millimetres will need to be added to the displayed value
If the gauge is solely used for the purpose of depth measurement the hook can be cut off and removed permanently
