Hybrid diamond and CBN wheels are used for Fluting, Clearance & Gashing grinding operations.
1A1 wheels are used for grinding the tool fultes to remove massive amounts of stock.
Recommended speed is 14 - 18m/s.
1V1 wheels are used mainly for gashing. Also can be used for fluting if angle less than 20 degrees.
Recommended speed is 20 - 30m/s.
12V9/45 wheel is an alternative for Gashing to replace 1V1 wheel.
Recommended speed is 20 - 30m/s.
11V9 wheel are used for grinding cutting edge of OD and ends. Need finer grit size to offer better
surface.
Recommended speed is 25 - 35m/s.
