Amorphous alloy is a new soft magneticmaterial. It is produced through an advanced technology of rapid solidificationof molten metal at a cooling rate of about a million 'C/sec. During thisprocess the metal is rapidly quenched as a form of ribbon with 25-35 µm in thickness,and the alloys show amorphous structure due to the high quenching rate.
