Established in November 2002, Deyang Wanxin Power Station Product Development Co., Ltd is one of the State-level High-tech Enterprises engaged in batch production of retaining ring - key part of generating sets. Our company has provided 10000 pieces of forging products of retaining ring of all kinds of specifications and various materials including 1Mn18Cr18N for the domestic and foreign users. Our company has passed ISO9000 Quality Management System Certification in 2006, and obtained the innovation funds for small and medium-sized enterprises provided by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2009, and has three national patents of invention on production of retaining ring. The Company has 129 employees, including 55 persons of college degree or above, accounting for 42.6% of the total number of staffs. The Product R&D Center of the Company has a laboratory for new products of 600 square meters, with professional engineers and technicians rich in experiences on fundamental research of material, machinery manufacture, computer simulation and testing, mainly engaged in development of new products.
1Mn18Cr18N retaining ring forgings for thermal power and nuclear power generating units were imported from other countries in the past few decades, there were no professional manufacturers in China. After the violent earthquake in Sichuan in 2008, backed by lavish support from Guanghan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government of the city, our company invested over RMB 80 million Yuan and took the land of 10.7 acres to build the production line for retaining rings for 300~1000MW thermal power and nuclear power generating units with the capacity of 550 pcs per year. After hard work for 2 years, the construction for standard workshops with the lifting capacity of 150 tons and 100 tons has been completed, the forging press with the capacity of 8,000 tons and matched travelling cranes, heating furnaces, manipulators, machining equipment and testing equipment have been installed, and the production line has been put into operation.


1000MW retaining ring project of our company is one of the projects encouraged and supported in the national industrial catalogue. The operation of this production line and installation of press of 8,000 tons fill the gap in China and enter into the advanced technology field in the world for forgings made of new materials. According to the feedback information from the motor plants in China for which our 50 ~ 300 mw 1Mn18Cr18N steel retaining rings are provided, the products of our company can completely replace the imported ones, thus put to an end the history of long-term dependence on import, and make great contributions to the manufacturing industries of thermal power and nuclear power units.
