Spiral Wound gaskets (body) for heat exchangers are made of pre-formed V- or W-shaped metallic and non-metallic strips tightly wound by special equipment. Depending on the number of tubes in the heat exchanger, different shapes of spacer strips are welded to the steel wire inner ring. The spacer is made of sheet metal compounded with flexible graphite. It has the same good compression resilience characteristics and good sealing with the pipe flange winding gasket, which can adapt to the requirements of high temperature and high pressure parameters, and can still maintain good sealing in the occasion of temperature and pressure changes.
