Four rope clamshell grab bucket is a kind of lifting equipment with excellent performance, which consists of bucket body, upper bearing beam, lower bearing beam, spreader bar and balance frame. Double flap means that there are two mutually symmetrical bucket bodies. Four-rope means that the work of the grab is controlled by four wire ropes, two of which are hung on the rope guide device (balance frame) on the upper bearing beam and are called support ropes; and the other two are connected with the wire ropes wrapped around the grab pulley block and are called closure ropes.
It Is generally designed for handling of powder and fine bulk materlals. The grab overall structure is light and durable,offering high grabbing ratio, strong closing force and high materlal filling rate. It is normally attached to port cranes,deck cranes, ship unloaders and other type of cranes, which are wldely used in ports, steel plants, power stations andvessels.
