- Regulations on starting times and interval time of motor
a. Under normal conditions, the squirrel cage motor is allowed to be started twice in cold state, with the interval of each time not less than 5 minutes, and once in hot state; Whether cold or hot, after the motor fails to start, find out the cause to determine whether to start the next time.
b. In case of accident (in order to avoid shutdown, limit load or cause harm to main equipment), the motor can be started twice continuously regardless of cold or hot state; For motors below 40kW, the starting times are not limited.
c. Under normal conditions, the starting times of DC motor shall not be too frequent. During low oil pressure test, the starting interval shall not be less than 10 minutes.
d. In case of accident, the starting times and time interval of DC motor are not limited.
e. When motor (including DC motor) is subject to dynamic balance test, the starting time interval is:
(1). Motors below 200kW (all 380V motors, 220V DC motors), with a time interval of 0.5 hour.
(2). 200-500kW motor, time interval is 1 hour.
Including: condensate pump, condensate lift pump, booster pump, shore make-up pump, boiler circulating pump, # 3 belt conveyor and # 6 belt conveyor.
(3). For motors above 500kW, the time interval is 2 hours.
Including: electric pump, coal crusher, coal mill, forced draft fan, primary air fan, suction fan, circulating pump and heat supply network circulating pump.
