Q: What's the material of the QF series valve's body?
A: We supply body of valves with carbon steel, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.
Q: What is the maximum pressure a wafer ball valve will take at 65C?
A: The pressure rating correlates to the tempreture the valve is seeing, for example at 65C max would be 10 bar, and however at a higher temp of 110C the same valve will be reted at 6 bar.
Q: Are butterfly and lever type handles interchangeable?
A: It is dependent on model size and code type.
Q: Is there a correct way to install ball valves?
A: No, however it"s always advisable to install thw valve with spanner flats closest to the inlet.
Q: Do you have a ball valve with a full port internal?
A: Yes, except the 1PC ball valves, most of the 2PC, 3PC and flanged ball valves we supplied are full port.
Q: Can ball valve be partially open?
A: Most vall valves are quickly acting type. They required a 90-degree turn of the actuator lever to either fully open or completely close the valve. this feature, coupled with the turbulent flow generated when the ball opening is partially opan, limits the use of ball valves as a flow control device.
