SELVA PMI foam can be used as the core material of high performance composite materials, which can simplify the process and shorten the process, and solve the problems of thick cells, easy moisture absorption and easy debonding of honeycomb core material, and solve the problems of low strength, low modulus and low heat resistance of general foam core material.
The performance advantages of PMI are:

Because of its high obturator ratio and water pressure resistance, it can be used as underwater buoyancy material. High closure rate and fine uniform bubble hole, also make the material with good sound insulation, heat insulation, moisture resistance.
Easy bonding:
suitable for epoxy, unsaturated polyester, double horse resin and other resin systems, high bonding strength.
Processing convenience: it is convenient for machining and can be bent and shaped into various surfaces under heating conditions, which improves the design freedom.
Fatigue resistance:
the unique molecular structure endows it with good fatigue resistance, especially suitable for the composite sandwich structure which can bear dynamic load. The service life of the sandwich structure made with fiber reinforced materials is several times longer than that of metal products.
