3. Structure and characteristics
This valve is mainly composed of rotating shaft, handle, positioning plate, cylindrical pin, bonnet, one-way thrust ball bearing, valve core, retaining ring, valve seat, O-ring seal, wave spring, valve body, steel ball, spring and other parts composition.
This valve has the following characteristics:
The valve core and valve seat are sealed by differential pressure, so the higher the oil pressure, the better the gas sealing performance and the more reliable the seal. The wave spring plays a role of sealing and self-repair after the valve seat is worn.
Equipped with thrust bearing, when the valve changes direction, the rotating torque acting on the handle is small, not exceeding 30N·m.
The top of the valve cover is the positioning plate. When the handle is rotated, the steel ball enters one of the holes of the positioning plate under the action of the spring, and a cylindrical pin slides in the waist groove on the positioning plate to limit the position. effect. Therefore, when the valve changes direction, the handle is in place accurately, and the direction change and reset are reliable.
4. Working principle
As shown in Figure 7, this valve has three oil ports, of which P 1 and P 2 are the pressure oil inlets, and the A port is the pressure oil outlet. This valve also has a drain port, namely O port.
When the valve is reversing, the handle can have two positions: left position (handle rotates 45° left) and right position (handle rotates 45° right), which are described as follows:
Left position--P 2 port is connected with A port, P 1 port is closed. At this time, the pressure oil enters the control manifold from port P 2 through port A.
Right position--P 1 port is connected to A port, P 2 port is closed. At this time, the pressure oil enters the control manifold from port P 1 through port A.
Under working conditions, the oil leaking from the rotary valve flows back to the oil tank through the O port.
5. Repair
The two-position three-way rotary valve adopts a shear type seal, which has strong anti-pollution ability and generally will not fail due to blockage and other reasons. If oil leakage occurs to the rotary valve, it is best to replace the entire rotary valve.
If it can be judged that the valve core, retaining ring, valve seat or wave spring and other sealing parts are malfunctioning, you can disassemble the four screws connecting the valve cover and the valve body, separate the valve cover from the valve body, and then disassemble and replace the valve core and stopper. Ring, valve seat or wave spring.
