Applications:
Sanitary pneumatic butterfly valves are used to open / close and control flow rate of hygienic fluids like beverage, wine, dairy, beer, purified water, pharmaceutical liquid, biological medium, and so on. They are installed in all kinds of sanitary and hygienic facilities, pipe lines and equipment like:
1. C.I.P. (clean in place) facilities & systems
2. Liquid purification, filtration, blending & mixing systems
3. Production and recycling system of purified water, highly purified water, water for injection (WFI)
4. High gravity brewing system

Working Principle:
The valve closing and opening is operated automatically by the pneumatic actuator. The actuator is driven the compressed air going into and out of the actuator.
A. Double acting: Air in--Piston outwards--Valve stem rotates--Valve open--Air in again-- Piston backwards--Valve closed
B. Spring return: Air in--Piston outwards--Valve stem rotates--Valve open--Piston backwards automatically by spring--Valve closed
