The operation process of cooking oil batch refining equipment includes degumming, deacidification, decolorization and deodorization, and high-quality cooking oil can be obtained after deodorization.
1.Degumming, adding hot water to the refining tank to wash the crude oil to remove some impurities in the crude oil, such as phospholipids, colloids, and proteins, so that they can be dissolved in hot water.
2.Deacidification: FFA (free fatty acid) can be removed by adding alkaline water to neutralize the acid.
3.Decolorization: Crude oil contains a lot of pigments, such as carotene, lutein, etc., which can be removed with bleaching earth, because bleaching earth has a strong adsorption capacity. It can absorb the pigment in crude oil. So the oil can be transparent and light in color
4.Filtering oil: Use a plate and frame filter to filter the old white clay in the decolorized oil.
5.Deodorization: Crude oil has its special odor due to some volatile substances, such as oxidized ketones, aldehydes, and hydrocarbons. The steam generated by the steam generator is continuously added to the oil to ensure full contact between the steam and the oil under the high temperature and high bed, and the volatiles are removed together with the steam
