1.Basic Description of Fiberglass Open Lifeboat
GRP Open lifeboat is a economical series and can meet the requirement of rescue and is suitable for Passenger Ship and Cargo Ship island river and offshore vessels.
The hull of lifeboat is made of the fire reinforced plastic(F.R.P). Even now the open lifeboat can not meet the SOLAS regulations anymore, but it also can be used for training and leisure etc.
The space between the inside and outside hull is filled with polyurethane foam which will be afloat with the help of the foam even the part of boat underneath the water damaged.

3. General description of Fiberglass Open Lifeboat
The boat is a motor propelled Open lifeboat designed to be launched by davit.
The Open lifeboat has excellent reliability, maneuverability, and sea-keeping abilities.
4. Hull
The boat hull and inner line are made of glass reinforced polyester with waterproof marine approved type unsaturated polyester as its binder and fiberglass cloth felt as its strengthening material, the fiber reinforced glass is formed by layers laying in module.
5. Propeller system
Diesel engine ZX2105C-1 approved for use in open lifeboat.
6. Steering control
The boat can be operated at aft.
7. Lifting system
The lifting arrangement is a double point system, with connecting ring for davit hook.
The hooks are controlled from a release handle mounted on starboard side of the steering position and will release simultaneously when the craft is fully waterborne.
