700KN Electric Towing Winch with Emergency Release Device
Description towing drum
One drum. Prime mover is one electric inverter motor + gearbox. It is placed one brake (fail safe brake close with no oil pressure).
Gearbox includes chains, steel cable spooling device. The motor will be located parallel to the drum. Gearbox is oil lubricated and include heaters.
Characteristics of electric motors
All mechanism is joined by a common bed plate. Shafts are took by roller bearings lubricated. Drum and structure made of carbon steel. Gear transmission is closed.
2)Control system
- Local control (near to towing winch)
On local control you can: Operate towing features from local panel.Protection of local panel is IP-56.
- Remote control (wheelhouse)
On remote control you can: Operate towing features from remote panel in bridge.Protection of remote panel is IP-44.
3) Hydraulic unit of brake and clutch
Power -pack for brakes and clutches
Driven by the one electric motor at 1500 rpm.
When there is no power at a vessel (stop of diesel-generators due to emergency case) winch hydraulic system is to provide residual pressure which can provide disengaging of coupling with rope drum and here to the break is to be open.
