The machine's foundation boasts a robust welding framework, utilizing high-strength steel plates as its primary structural backbone, ensuring overall machine stability. The precision-crafted knives (ranging from 2 to 4) are securely mounted onto the roller via a clamping plate, secured by specialized knife bolts. The upper feed roller assembly, aided by an advanced hydraulic system, dynamically adjusts its position over the workpiece, floating up or down within a predetermined range based on material thickness, optimizing cutting efficiency. Post-processing, wood chips traverse through screening apertures at the machine's base, with oversized particles undergoing a secondary chipping process within the unit.
The integrated hydraulic system serves as the lifeblood of the machine, with the oil pump efficiently delivering pressurized oil to the cylinders. This facilitates seamless drum cover opening for swift knife replacement, while also elevating the upper feed roller for precise adjustment of the gap between the rotating and bed knives. Furthermore, it simplifies the process of exchanging comb plates, enhancing overall maintenance ease and reducing downtime.
