Introduction:
806 rheological additive is a kind of improved high-purity organic ammonium montmorillonite organoclay, With finer dispersing grain diameter, less than 30μm if dispersed completely, it is applicable in low-medium polar solvent aliphatic and aromatic systems, such as mineral oil, paraffin oil, mechanical oil, toluene, xylene, 200# solvent oil systems. This product is similar to Bentone 38.
Application:
806, as a kind of high-quality, high-efficiency thickening, anti-sinkable, anti-sagging and thixotropy additive, it is widely used in industrial paint, printing oil, furniture paint, grease, antiseptic paint.
Usage:
806 can disperse at normal temperature. Pre-gel is suggested to make and, added into the grinded binder; For the low polar solvent with 200# solvent oil and white oil aliphatic hydrocarbon, polar activator (such as 95% ethanol), 30-40% of the organic clay dosage should be added and whipped in high speed for 10-20 minutes.
Dosage:
806's dosage in the system is usually 0.5-2.0% (percentage in weight)
