Diethylene glycol(DEG) is an organic compound with the formula (HOCH2CH2)2O. It is a colorless,practically odorless,poisonous,and hygroscopic liquid with a sweetish taste. It is miscible in water,alcohol,ether,and ethylene glycol.
USAGE:1.It is used as gas dehydrating agent and aromatic extraction solvent, as well as lubricant, softener and finishing agent of textiles, as well as solvents such as plasticizer, humidifier, sizing agent, resin and grease.
2. Used as brake oil mixture, celluloid softener, antifreeze and diluent in lotion polymerization.
3. Used as antifreeze, gas dehydrating agent, plasticizer, solvent, aromatic extractant, cigarette hygroscopic agent, textile lubricant and finishing agent, paste and anti drying agent of various adhesives, reducing dye hygroscopic cosolvent
