There are two types of long radius and short radius. The long radius movable elbow has a smooth passage, which can minimize the resistance of the liquid when passing through. The erosion and corrosion of the fluid on the wall thickness at the turning are better than that of the short radius. Short radius flexible elbows can be used when the installation space is limited or the pressure is low. The long-radius movable elbow of the new structure increases the wall thickness and strength of the parts susceptible to erosion, improves the erosion resistance and prolongs the service life.
Design Features
* Our universal joints with integral ball bearings are manufactured according to American FMC technology. *Provide various types of universal joints and their repair kits, suitable for normal or low temperature or hydrogen sulfide environment, sizes from 1" to 4", rated working pressure range is 2000psi~20000psi (14MPa~140MPa). * We can provide long and short radius swivel joints. Large radius gimbal minimizes fluid shock and provides better resistance to scour and erosion. Due to limited installation space, we also needed to use short radius swivels for low pressure operation. *The universal joint is made by CNC machine tool, with uniform wall thickness and longer service life. The wall thickness difference between the inner and outer arcs can meet the FMC standard. The triple ball race design is stable for heavy loads and ensures low vibration during load changes. * All sizes of rotary unions are interchangeable with FMC equivalents used in cementing and fracturing equipment. * Elastomeric seals with relief holes are fitted with metal blowout rings. When the seal leaks, the pressure is automatically released. Enhanced security performance. *Usually good lubrication will keep the rotary joint working without much maintenance
