Circulating Head
The circulation head type have casing circulation head and drill pipe circulation head, which are specialized joints used for circulating drilling fluid in casing operations. The upper part of the casing circulation joint can be connected to an oil union or drill pipe, usually a 2-inch oil union external or drill pipe internal buckle, and the lower part is an API casing thread external buckle used to connect casing couplings.
Characteristic:
1. The casing circulation head is manufactured using alloy pipes, while the drill pipe circulation head is integral forged.
2. It can be used as a part of cement heads, for quick disassembly and installation.
