Chemical equipment with high temperature and high pressure needs to be sealed,especially containers with extremely,highly hazardous,flammable andexplosive media.Under the action of high temperature and high pressure,the flange,bolt and gasket are prone to creep and stress relaxation and leakage.The lip is directly welded to death,without leakage,and has a special structure to eliminate the negative effects of creep and stress relaxation.It is widelyused in high temperature and high pressure equipment,as well as low temperature and high pressure equipment.
There are several points to weld lip seal:
1.The bolt load should be slightly greater than the axial force caused by the intenal pressure.
2.Lip welding only plays the role of welding sealing.
3.Lip welding structure can also be supplemented with gasket seal ,generally using 0.5mm thick flexible graphite or PTFE.
