ASTM A588 GrA/B A242 Atmospheric corrosion resistant corten steel plate
Corten steel, also called Weather Resistant steel or Atmospheric Corrosion Resistant steel, it is known as a low cost and highly effective material.
Corten steel is classed as being a "self -protecting "steel for its "patina "which results from protective surface oxidation and develops during exposure to the atmosphere; The oxide layer that gives the steel its distinctive appearance and enhances weather resistant capabilities compared to standard steels, also the improved corrosion performance can lead to improved service life.
The charcteristic for this steel: The surface will be rusted after somedays, but need to take some time around 3 Month; Also if you want it to be rusted very fast based on building requirement, we can do the rust processing too in our workshop,very good finish and the color can keep 3-5 years;

Rust finish process:
Step 1. The steel surface by shot peening or pickling to remove the surface scale.
Step 2. Preparation of weathering steel surface treatment agent, the weight percentage of 0.1% ~ 3% NaCl, 0.3% ~ 3% FeSO4 , 0.1% ~ 3% CuSO4 and 0.3% ~ 3% NaHSO3 mixed with water and poured into the barrel, Uniform until the solution was sky blue.
Step 3.
