Hongxiang's HDPE geomembrane is also knowned as high-density polyethylene impermeable geomembrane.
It's a kind of waterproof material, the raw material is high-molecular polymer. The main components are 97.5% of HDPE and 2.5% of Carbon black/anti-aging agent/anti-oxygen/UV absorbent / stabilizer and other accessory.
It is manufactured via triple co-extrusion technique by the most advanced automatic equipment which is imported from Italy.
Hongxiang's HDPE geomembrane are all manufactured according to US GRI and ASTM standards.
Its main function is anti-seepage and isolation.

Feature and Advantages of HDPE geomembrane:
1)High anti-seepage ratio:
HDPE geomembrane has a great anti-seepage effect unmatched by ordinary waterproof materials, and is recommended in some projects with high anti-seepage requirements.It's Permeability property is ≤1.0*10-13g cm/(cm2spa).
2)Chemical Stability:
It has excellent stability, acid and alkali resistance, salt solution, oil, alcohol, etc., and is mostly used in sewage treatment and landfills.
3)Anti plant root system
HDPE geomembrane has excellent puncture resistance and resists most plant roots. It is a must-choice product for planting roofs.
4)Aging resistance
HDPE geomembrane has excellent anti-aging, anti-ultraviolet, anti-decomposition capabilities. Oven aging at 85ºC, standard OIT, 55% retained after 90 days, oven aging at 85ºC,high pressure OIT, 80% retained after 90 days.
5)High Mechanic strength
It has good mechanical strength, and is first choice for seepage prevention in water conservancy projects. The tensile strength ,tear resistance, and puncture resistance properties all meet GRI-GM13 standard.

Types of HDPE geomembrane
According to the surface of HDPE geomembrane, it can be divided into HDPE Geomembrane Smooth and HDPE Geomembrane Textured, including both sides textured and one side textured.
Compared with smooth geomembrane, textured HDPE geomembrane has a bigger friction coefficient.
For example, as we all know, HDPE geomembrane is widely used in landfill project. In order to maximize the storage capacity of the landfill, the slope of the landfill needs to be built as steep as possible.
Generally, the smooth HDPE geomembrane has a smooth surface and low surface shear strength, which will cause instability in the slope in the anti-seepage system. Therefore, the slopes of landfills now mainly use textured HDPE geomembrane, which has a high surface friction coefficient, which enhances the stability of the slope.
The production of Hongxiang High Density Polyethylene Geomembranes as follows:
1)The first step is to mix High Density Polyethylene resin and color mastermatch, the main components are 97.5% of HDPE and 2.5 of carbon black/anti-aging agent/anti-oxygen/UV absorbent / stabilizer and other adjuvant;
2)Then all the raw materials enter the extruder, and form the geomembrane after being extruded and blown by the extruder;
3)Cooling and rolling;
4)Finally packaged in woven geotextile bags.
