Product Description
Zinc Protect strip enhances roof durability by preventing the discoloration and decay caused by moss, algae, fungus and mold. It can be easily installed on most roof types. As rain water runs along the length of the roof, zinc carbonate produced from the strip, washes across the roof, and inhibits mold growth. The strip will not deteriorate since it is 99.9% pure zinc. Zinc Protect can protect roofs for 20+ years.Zinc Protect meets strict manufacturing and quality control standards not adhered to by other lower quality options.
Hot dipped galvanized steel sheet & coil is made of carbon steel coated in zinc utilizing the hot-dip process. The end result of this process is a layer of zinc on each side of the steel sheet or coil that is tightly adhered to the steel through the formation of an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer. This bonding layer is formed by a diffusion process while the heated steel is in contact with molten zinc.
For galvanized steel coils, the steel sheet is immersed in a molten zinc bath to make a sheet of zinc coated on its surface. It is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in a plating tank with zinc melted to make galvanized steel plate; alloyed galvanized steel plate. This kind of steel plate is also manufactured by hot dip method, but immediately after being out of the tank, it is heated to about 500 ºC to form an alloy coating of zinc and iron.This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability.
