This gear box is used to connect the gear pump with the PTO of agricultural tractors. The output of the PTO is - 540rpm, and the speed suitable for the operation of the gear pump can be achieved through the gearbox transmission. Common growth ratio: 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:2.5, 1:3:1:3.5, 1:3.8
P.T.O TRACTOR GEARBOXES
The gearboxes series are used mainly for connecting hydraulic pumps to the power take-offs of agricultural tractors. PTO output, standardized at either 540 or 1,000 rpm, is, in this way, increased to optimum operating speeds for the hydraulic pumps. RD series of gearboxes are used to reduce hydraulic motor speed.
ML and B series gearboxes provide the connection for hydraulic pumps to low speed tractor power take off. The standard power take off speed of 540 rpm, is increased by the gearbox ratio to optimal speed conditions required for the pump. Different inputs are accepted under condition that the output speeds don't go over 3000 rpm.

The Gearboxes are designed for connecting gear pumps to farm tractor power take offs (PTO). Output speed of power take offs is 540rpm which can be compared with the proper running speeds of hydraulic pumps. Different input running speeds can also be suitable,provided that the gearbox output speed does not exceed 3000 rpm.

SAE90 gear oil must be put into the gear box before use · The oil must be changed after the first 60-80 hours and then every 12 months or 1500 hours (whichever comes first)
The mechanical energy of the tractor gearbox is transferred to the PTO shaft, which is connected to the speed "lifting" gearbox.
The hydraulic pump is installed on the output flange of the speed increase gearbox.
The hydraulic pump then delivers the oil through a hose and valve system to components, such as a cylinder used to push or pull linear motion, or a motor that provides rotational work.
Excess oil from the motor and cylinder flows back to the main flow control valve.
The oil tank return pipe from the main flow control valve sends the oil back through the filter.
When the oil passes through the filter, it returns to the reservoir and the process starts again.
