Activated alumina is a strong oxidizing agent,chemical formula,black purple crystal,with blue metallic luster,odorless,in contact with some organic matter or easy oxide,easy to explode,soluble in water,lye, sulfuric acid.it is one of the strongest oxidants,which is greatly affected by pH as an oxidant and has the strongest oxidation capacity in acidic solutions.
