Expanded metal corner bead, also called diamond mesh corner bead or expanded angle bead, is manufactured from stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized expanded metal wing flanges and a solid metal nose. The expanded metal corner bead is an important part in the building constructions. It can be used in the various irregular surface to supply clean and straight corners. The angle bead with creased reinforce flange can supply additional rigidity and strength for the corner bead.Types of expanded metal corner bead
- Expanded angle bead. The common type of expanded metal corner bead. It consist of aluminum, stainless steel or galvanized expanded metal sheet and a metal nose.
- Angle bead with reinforce flange. It is a reinforced structure of expanded metal corner bead. It consist of the various materials of expanded metal sheet, solid metal nose and a perforated stiffening rib. The stiffening rib supplies better strength than the expanded angle bead.
- Angle bead with creased reinforce flange. The most solid structure among the three type. Similar to the angle bead with reinforce flange, the angel bead with creased reinforce flange has three main parts: expanded metal sheet, solid metal nose and reinforcement rib. The reinforcement rid is creased with can be suit for more applications and more solid than the common rib.
