The project's first phase consisted of a steam cracker with a capacity of 600,000 tonnes of ethylene per annum and ten process units. in September 2009, the company started the construction of the project's second phase, with a total investment of approximately US$1.4 billion, and in January 2012, it commenced commercial operation.
