| Indications: | 5% oxytetracycline injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, mainly used to treat various infections caused by sensitive bacteria. It is suitable for respiratory tract, urogenital system, digestive tract infections, as well as skin and soft tissue infections in cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, dogs, cats and other animals. It is often used to treat bacterial pneumonia, metritis, mastitis, enteritis, etc. |
| Adverse Reactions: | Local reactions such as pain, redness, and swelling may occur at the injection site. Long-term use may cause liver and kidney damage and should be monitored regularly. Dogs and cats: Give oxytetracycline 10mg to 20mg per kilogram of body weight (that is, 0.2ml to 0.4ml per kilogram of body weight), deep intramuscular injection, once a day, for 3-5 consecutive days. |
| Drug interactions: | Be cautious when used with other hepatotoxic drugs to avoid aggravating toxic reactions. Avoid using it at the same time with divalent metal ion drugs such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. |
