Polydimethylsiloxane is also called silicone oil, it is a colorless and transparent new type of synthetic polymer material, with a variety of different viscosities (5cps ~ 8 million cps), from extremely fluid liquids to thick semi-solids. This product has special smoothness, flexibility, water repellency, good chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation and high and low temperature resistance. The flash point is high, the freezing point is low, and it can be used for a long time at -50ºC~+200ºC. The viscosity-temperature coefficient is small, the compression rate is large, the surface tension is low, the water repellency and moisture resistance are good, and the specific thermal conductivity is small. The product is non-corrosive and physiologically inert. At the same time, it also has excellent frost resistance, heat resistance, and oxidation resistance, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -50°C to 300°C. The viscosity-temperature coefficient is small, the dielectric properties are good, and it has good electrical insulation properties. In addition, it also has strong shear resistance and good light transmittance, low surface tension, low volatility and other characteristics.
Silicone oil is insoluble in water, glycol and ethoxyethanol, but soluble in benzene, and diethyl ether. Ether, partly soluble in ethanol, butanol, insoluble in cyclohexanol, paraffin oil, vegetable oil. It has excellent water repellency and moisture resistance, good light transmittance, and chemical stability. Widely used in insulating, heat-resistant, moisture-proof fillers, high-efficiency defoamers, mold release agents, lubricants and surface treatment agents.

Storage:
