Electric Arc Furnace
Electric arc furnaces are industrial furnaces that smelt ores and metals at high temperatures generated by electrode arcs.
Application
It is used for the production of ordinary steel, high-quality broken plain steel, various alloy steel and stainless steel, and is widely used in steel mills and foundries.
Features:
1. Very high temperature. When the gas discharge forms an arc, the energy is very concentrated, and the temperature of the arc zone is above 3000 °C.
2.The temperature can be flexibly controlled. In the smelting process, by controlling the current and voltage, the smelting temperature can be flexibly adjusted to meet the needs of different steel smelting.
3. The equipment is simple that other steel melting furnace, the process flow is short, and the thermal efficiency is high.
4. The atmosphere in the furnace can be controlled, the chemical composition of the steel is easier to control, and there are many types of steel smelted.
5. It can effectively remove impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus and oxygen, improve the quality of steel, and the recovery rate of the alloy is high and stable.
