Product Introduction
Applications for forged brass air vent valve include hydronic heating systems, water service lines, water storage tanks, centrifugal pumps, gas lines, solvent filters and similar equipment. These Air vent are compact float-type valves for the removal of air and other gases from hydronic heating and cooling systems, liquid chilling operations, and other light liquid services.
The Air vent valve is designed to release air-pockets out of the piping system. It should be installed at every high-point of the piping system where air can be trapped. The simple construction relies on a float held by a lever so that the float does not rub against the body to avoid any risk of jamming.
