In the automotive industry two kinds of glass enamels are used, laminated and toughened. Toughened products are used for side lights, back lights and sunroofs, laminated products are used for windshields.
Product Characteristics
Have very good anti-stick property which is suitable for deep press bending of back-and sidelights. Have a neutral black color (a-and b-value close to zero) which is very opaque. Have very good silver hiding under intense light for back lights.
Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE): (80~90)×10-7/K-1 (50-300ºC)
Particle size: ≤8um
Drying temperature:100ºC~150ºC
Tempering temperature:laminated temperature():600ºC~650ºC/toughened temperature(): 650ºC~720ºC
Tempering time: about 40~45 seconds per millimeter
Printing mesh: 150~220of Mesh
Printing R.H.: 50~60%
Printing temperature: 20ºC~25ºC
