The working principle of the instrument
A compliant instrument clamps the sample between the upper and lower chucks with a certain pressure, and uses a reciprocating constant-speed hydraulic pressure to bulge the film and the sample until the sample ruptures, the maximum value of the applied hydraulic pressure, the burst resistance of the sample.
