Ball spline is a rolling guide component mainly composed of nuts, steel balls, and retainers. By rolling the steel balls infinitely between the nuts, the nuts can move linearly with high precision. The steel balls on the ball spline have an angular contact structure, which can withstand radial and torque loads. The integrated design of the nut and bearing enables the ball spline to achieve high load in a streamlined structure.
The ball spline is equipped with load bearing balls, which are designed for face-to-face angular contact. The balls continuously move in a row through a steel ball retainer. Through optimized retainer design, high-speed and high acceleration and deceleration guidance are achieved. In addition, the retainer's wrapping design of the steel balls allows the nut to be pulled out of the spline shaft, and the balls will not fall off.
Capable of transmitting torque
Compared with linear bearings, the steel balls in the rolling groove are in angular contact, so the nut can move relative to each other, achieving the function of transmitting torque.
