Barium stearate also known as Octadecanoic Acid Barium, with the chemical formula Ba(C18H35O2)2 and a molecular weight of 704.13. It appears as a white fine powder.

Applications

It can be used as a heat stabilizer and lubricant for PVC, a high-temperature resistant additive for rubber products, and a lubricant for machines. It is mainly used for soft transparent films, thin sheets, synthetic leather, as well as hard boards, pipes, etc.

Storage, Transportation, and Packaging

Store in a cool, ventilated indoor area. Ensure cleanliness during transportation and handling to prevent damage from sun, rain, high temperatures, and humidity.
