Belt Anti-Tear Blocking Detector Longitudinal Tear Switch dB-100 Pull Cord Switch

Overview:

Tear switches provide an alarm signal to the monitor or shut down the conveyor in the event of tears, punctures,
junction damage or sharp objects protruding from the belt. Tear switches are mounted in pairs on both sides of the
conveyor belt and are connected by two sections of vinyl-coated aircraft wire rope. One end of the aero wire rope is fixed
to the support bracket; the other end is attached to the pull ring of the rip switch. The two sections of aero wire rope form
a monitoring surface under the conveyor belt and when an object or torn belt hangs down and sweeps down to the aero
wire rope, the aero wire rope pulls the rip switch pull ring to make it move and the rip switch signals an alarm or shutdown.

Working principle:
When an emergency occurs at the tape transport site, pulling the aerial wire rope tied to the lugs causes the slider in the
machine to act with the switch to signal a stop. After releasing the wire rope, the operating self-locking bar switch is
automatically reset. The switch is made of high quality travel switch, with long use mission. Good sealing, with Dustproof,
shockproof, anti-corrosion, etc. The housing is made of cast aluminum, with light weight and strong hardness.

Installation And Use:

The switch is mounted balanced on the frame fixing bracket. The switch is mounted in pairs on both sides of the tape, the two
switch pull rings are connected with a wire rope and the rope walk is made parallel to the tape with a lifting ring. The rope
pulling action should be suitable to ensure that the switch is reliably reset. Several pairs of switches can be fitted to a single tape.
