Product Description
Biocide MBS is an aqueous solution of CMIT, MIT, and BIT micro-biocide. It is a unique
preservative and has been used in a variety of industrial applications, which include water based
coatings such as paints, slurries, dispersed pigments, adhesives, latex emulsions, and process water.
The active ingredients provide broad-spectrum activity against common bacteria and fungi. CMIT,
MIT, and BIT are approved by EPA for industrial applications and are highly recommended for
water containing systems with pH 2-12.

Biocide MBS has been used in paints, slurries, dispersed pigments, adhesives, latex emulsion,
process water, detergents and other high pH water containing systems. we can assist you to
determine the use level in your specific products. Typical use concentrations are in the range of
0.1-0.8% (w/w) in the final products.
