To clean areas of the body, alcohol prep balls or alcohol pads are used. Alcohol balls come in a variety of sizes and types, including alcohol swabs, alcohol wipes, and isopropyl swabs. They are single-use only. Alcohol balls and Swabs are available in both sterile and non-sterile versions. They're made for cleaning and scrubbing. They're both widely used as an antiseptic skin cleanser when using insulin syringes, pen needles, or lancets. Alcohol balls and Swabs are also used to avoid infections, clean the skin, and clean wounds, scrapes, and cuts.
Active ingredient: Isopropyl Alcohol 70% or Ethyl Alcohol 70%
Purpose: Antiseptic
Uses: For preparation of the skin prior to injection. For first aid to decrease germs in minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
Warnings
* For external use only.
* Flammable. Keep away from fire or flame.
* Use only in a well-ventilated area; fumes may be toxic.
* Keep out of reach of children
* Avoid contact with eyes or broken skin.
* In case of irritation, discontinue use.
Do not use
* with electrocautery procedures
* longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor

* apply over large areas of the body
In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns, consult a doctor.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
* condition persists or gets worse or lasts for more than 72 hours
