Block board is a type of engineered wood product commonly used in furniture manufacturing and construction. It is made by sandwiching a core of softwood strips between two layers of plywood or veneer. The core strips are usually made from solid wood, such as pine or poplar, and they are placed edge-to-edge and glued together to form a solid block.
