YEAST SEPARATOR -FERMENTAITON INDUSTRY
Yeast is a microbe that was earlier used by human with the widest application range. There are about 350 types of yeasts. Each type of yeasts can be classified into numerous kinds of yeasts. Therefore, it can be said that there are thousands of kinds of yeasts. Yeast cells contain a great number of useful substances, which enable them to be widely applied in such industries as food, medicine, biology, cosmetics, etc.
During the treatment process of starters such as yeast, the multi-stage treatment method including washig and separation is always adopted to achieve a higher yield or purify microbes as much as possible.
Molasses, a byproduct in the sugar industry, is a good raw matrial for fermentation as it contains large amounts of fermentable sugars(mainly sucrose). In addition, crude molasses also contains some other ingredients such as sand, calcium, protein, etc., the presence of which will restrain the growth of microbes.
The application of Huading separators, an indispensable part during the molasses processing, can effectively remove most of useless substances in molasses to ensure high profits of the whole fermention process.
