There are generally two main installation methods of PVC roof film:
Complete bonding:
The film is attached directly to the underlying substrate using an adhesive or hotair welding technique. This method has excellent waterproof performance andenhanced resistance to wind uplift. However, it requires meticulous surfacetreatment to ensure proper bonding and can be more time consuming thanother methods.
Mechanical fixation:
The film is secured to the roof deck using mechanical anchors, such as screws orplates. This method provides a faster installation time, but may not have as strong water resistance as a fully adhered system. When deciding which installation method to choose, it is important to consider factors such as building height location, weather conditions and local building codes.
Regardless of the installation method you choose, some key factors must be considered during the process. Roof slope should be carefully evaluated, as PVC films perform best on flat or low-pitched roofs, where they can effectively drain rainwater without creating problems with pooling. The type of insulation used under these membranes also affects their performance, Therefore, it is crucial to choose the right insulation material to complement the PVC roofing system.

1)How to choose suitable waterproof membranes ?
-For exposed places, such as, roof, we suggest TPO /PVC waterproof membrane. Their application method can be welded or glue.
-For unexposed places, such as, kitchen, bathroom...we suggest high polymer PE+non-woven fabric. It can be applied with cement. Tiles can be stick on cement.
